So this weekend at the lake turned out a lot different than expected. Let me give you some background, this past week my dog's eye had been bothering him and we took him to the vet. So they gave us medication for his eye. Five minutes after arriving at the lake hos eye burst and my husband rushed him back home to the vet. Needless to say they had to remove his eye. This was on Friday and we were able to pick him up today.
On Saturday I ran with my mom and sister at the Courthouse Classic 5k. My heart just wasn't in it and I ran 2 minutes slower than my last 5k. A little disappointing but my heart was at home with my poor dog. On the bright side I love him just the same and can't wait till he is healed and gets that e collar off so we can play!
